So, I Wrote a Letter to My Congressman The Other Day…

So, I wrote a letter to my congressman the other day to make sure he was on the same page as we are about Net Neutrality and the industry giants’ most recent attempts to skirt the FCC Net Neutrality rules.  We thought the case was closed but the big guys like AT&T, Verizon and Comcast are all toeing the line again and testing to see what they can get away with under the new rules.  Will the FCC uphold and enforce the rules they recently set? Good question! Without getting into the heavy details of what’s currently going on with Net Neutrality, the main reason I wrote this post is to share that I got a letter back from my congressman,

I thought I would share it with you because it shows you that your voice really does matter. When you do things like contact your congressman, it lets them know what the people that vote for them have on their mind. As elected officials, the smart ones know that their jobs are on the line and that they need to listen too, and send their voters’ message up the chain of command. Writing to your elected officials it is one of many ways to change the way things are done in the good ole’ US of A. The problem is, most people don’t know or think about using this very effective tool. When you see something you don’t like, email your congressman and let them know!

Here is what he wrote back:
